New IWC Jubilee Collection Watches

History of IWC Jubilee Collection

It all sprang when an American engineer and watchmaker, Florentine Ariosto Jones, started working with the E. Howard Watch and Clock Co. in Boston, but he planned to try his luck in the Swiss market with the help of his American spirit, entrepreneurship, and modern engineering technology. Founded the International Watch Company (IWC) in 1868 in Schaffhausen, Jones created pocket watches of the highest possible quality with the help of proficient Swiss watchmakers and the latest technology of that time.

Later, an industrialist family from Schaffhausen, the Rauschenbach's, took over the company following Jones' return to his homeland, the United States. It designed incredible pocket timepieces with a digital display of Pallweber, and it also introduced Swiss watches for men and women.
