Jaquet Droz is a Swiss watchmaking company currently under the Prestige and Luxury division of the Swatch Group. The company has been named after Pierre Jaquet Droz (1721-1790), who was a famous manufacturer of clocks, watches, and automatons. Automatons were mechanically driven shapes and characters.
